This chapter is a bit shorter than my previous chapters, but I think you'll understand the reason behind it once you read it. Spike and Buffy are about to embark on the journey I've been dying to take them on since I came up with this little plot bunny and I simply cannot wait to share it with you all.

Quite possibly this will be the last you hear from me, for at least a couple of days. No fic updates, no journal entries, no email answers. We've been moving stuff all day, and we're going to attempt one more load of stuff tonight. Tomorrow we actually have to move the beds, whatever furniture we have and the computers. So we'll be going dark.

I cannot wait to get into the new place -- it's soo damn gorgeous. Makes this old apartment look like a dump.

I'll miss you all, and I'll be back as soon as possible.

Just watched tonights epi of BSG. I've been only half watching, but have them all on DVR. I kinda dont wanna have to watch them all to figure out WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED tonight?

Toe = still hurty, but improving. I can move it a tiny bit without giving vent to undignified wailing. It’s developing a rather large bruise, which is gratifying in that I can show it to people to prove that I really am injured. I can limp around the house all right, and went over to Mom’s earlier to set her new talking watch for her and take her to lunch. My foot was aching quite a bit by the time I got home, though, and I begged off going out window shopping this afternoon.

I’m having the peculiar experience of having two stories essentially finished and ready to post, but not being able to post them because for once I’m ahead of my deadline. I have a rather childish urge to stay up and post them on the stroke of midnight. Oh, well, builds character! I’ve been taking the time to catch up on some of the other stories which have been posted on [info]seasonal_spuffy this time around. While there have been a lot of good ones, and you should go read them all, I particularly want to recommend Legion by [info]elinora. She rarely writes Spike/Buffy, but when she does, every word shines.

Wrangling with my CYA story - I have a general idea about the plot, but I need to figure out what the emotional/theme-y stuff is going to be. Hmmm…
